Time to build with the giant advantage

In 2011, Messe München International (MMI) – a leading organizer of global trade fairs will be launching the successful ConBuild trade fair concept in Southeast Asia’s biggest economy and high growth market of Indonesia.

Under MMI’s INFRASTRUCTURE initiative to support and promote infrastructure development through top class international trade fairs and conferences, ConBuild extends this initiative to the Construction and Building sector – the foremost sector in infrastructure development.

WHY BUILD IN INDONESIA?

The Right Place
Indonesia is one of the world’s most populous
countries in the world, with a population of more than
237 million. High domestic needs and valuable natural
resources make this a viable market.

Its US$514 billion market-based economy enjoys a
brisk growth at more than 6% a year and is expected
to be one of the fastest growing Asian economies,
    after China and India.

The Opportune Prospects
I
nfrastructure development is the main driver for Indonesia’s new growth cycle and immense prospects present themselves in the Construction Sector:

Government and private sector infrastructure projects
worth US$230 billion will include the construction of
expressways, railways, ports and airports, power
stations, water supply and telecom plants.

The government has unveiled a US$6.2 billion stimulus
    package to finance infrastructure projects.

There are 87 ready-to-be-offered projects, prioritized
projects and potential projects worth USD34 billion in
    provinces throughout Indonesia.
